Brad Kaufman, a graduate of Indiana University, and Jay Herzog, a University of Georgia, would meet every Friday night to discuss business ideas, never planning to ever actually go into business together. Eventually, they landed on the idea of a paving company, and something clicked. In 2008, Jay and Brad founded Blackjack Paving, and they have been providing top-notch services and professional values ever since.
Originally from Georgia, Jay spent his early career managing business territories. For Jay, being successful in his business was based entirely on customer satisfaction. He is personally involved in each project, ensuring the business remains flourishing and active. A married man, Jay has three children and remains active in Peachtree City, Georgia, with local youth sports teams and his church.
Brad is a results-driven director with a history in corporate America. There he developed sales management teams and refined operational processes to bolster performance. His fantastic leadership skills and customer-oriented attitude have equipped Blackjack employees with the tools they need to completely satisfy their clients. His professional training includes expertise in management development, professional selling skills, and value proposition sales.
